ok dont worry! i found my pencil case!

my dad left for shanghai today. i didnt know he was leaving till yest, but anyway, everytime before he leaves the country, he always does the same thing- "lennard, if anything happens, i just took out more insurance policies just remember to claim them and remember you are the man of the house ok?" its very disconcerting. On one hand, he is my dad and i hope nothign happens to him. on the other, it is a hell lot of insurance cash. but the former wins out and i hpe he comes home safe.

yishi's bdae dinner today. i learned that veal is baby cow. i was previously under the impression it was baby lamb. my misconceptions were blown away when tiff told me lamb was baby sheep. and i thought they were two differnt species. damnit. oh. Kid is baby goat! whod'a guessed, huh?
