If ever there was a hell on earth, I think it would be a male toilet. Guys, you know what I'm talking about.
For the uninitiated, let me elaborate, and soon you too will agree with me. The male toilet. Ever walk past an area when suddenly the vicinity just smells terrible? It smells of piss, shit, vomit and all things bad. It smells of Satan's anus. Well, it wafts from the male toilet.
One thing I do not understand, is how us males, with a relatively simple-to-operate apparatus, miss the toilet bowl and rain forth a stream of golden showers on the floor. How hard can it be? Point and shoot damnit! POINT AND SHOOT! And mind you this is not limited to the metal or physically handicapped. Every male is at some point guilty of this- doctors, lawyers, scholars... even Jesus I'd bet. Everyone carries this secret shame of the occasional mis-fire. And so its left to pool on the floor in a puddle of god-awful stink that wafts up to assult the olfactory senses. Ok thats number one.
Number two. The turd. There are several possible situations that can arise from this. Firstly, upon entering a stall, one will be greeted by a disgusting floating mass curdling in the toilet bowl unflushed. Flush people! FLUSH! Didn't ya momma teach you?
The second, (and what should be considered a crime against humanity), is when, similar to peeing, the person mis-fires! Shit would be splayed all across the floor in way so creative it could pass for a avant-garde modernist art piece. Understandably, the American's accidental bombings on canadian soldiers, though unforgivable, is understandable. Along the many layers of bureaucracy, one John Doe sneakin a little crack could have mis-read the targets and passed on the wrong info like some game of broken-telephone gone wrong. But to mis-shit? Its from the mind telling the anus to contract, and thus expelling the shit. How can one screw that up? All I say is you must be one fucked-up idiot to mess that up.
Maybe, instead of government campaigns, what we need are larger toilet bowls.

Les Petite Monstres' Manifesto (draft #1)
"Oh! Woe is the state of ARt, a mere shambles of it former glory. Rules, regulations, restrictions! Begone! We have enough of that in our hum-drum reality. Let us escape! Let us be free! Let art deliver us from evil. Let art free our minds and unshackle our souls! Art will deliver us to a higher level of consciousness and oh let us share it with the world. Our father, who does art in heaven, should we fall to hell, give me my art!"
We believe art is, apart from the the aesthetic, over and above a conceptual tool to scrutinize and examine the world. Art is the pretty, the intelligent, the interesting. Art is the love you lost and the sun the shines. We will excavate our souls and uncover the truths within.
Fuck your opinions, fuck your values. we spit on yoru morals and your judgements. You cannot reject us. We are all equal in the collective human existence.
We shall move away from BASE art. Such a dis-service it does to humanity to unleash such atrocitious abominations upon the unsuspecting world. We shall wield the sword of subtlety that cuts with the bite of truth, but revives with the follies of the imagination. We shall be the salvation long promised.

"At the end of the day, Family is all one has."
Most times, I wish it weren't so.
"A family is a unit, for better or worse."
Most times, I wish it weren't so.
Someday, one day soon enough, I'll fly away, you know? I won't look back, because I have everything else to look forward to. I won't even bother a backward glance. Now I know how joan of arc felt.
-
I was never faithful
And I was never one to trust
Bordeline and skitzo
And guaranteed to cause a fuss
I was never loyal
Except to my own pleasure zone
I'm forever black-eyed
A product of a broken home
-
In other events, there is a newly formed art collective, le petit monstres. So far so good theres a draft manifesto out. haha. We hope to inspire and push each other so we won't wallow the ruts we dug for ourselves. will post a final version up as soon as its done.

Lou Reed sings poetry for the soul.
Today in school I learned that if given the option of an extra eye, jace would put hers on her back, I would put mine on the back of my head, yoon would put it on her ankle and poon would put hers in her armpit. Also, jacelyn experienced an epiphany during maths lecture. With a sudden jolt of realization, a contented smile creeped across her face as she announced proudly- "The mustache is an extra eyebrow for the lip." We are soooo gonna ace our A's man.

The fact that tomorrow is monday and that I have yet another long week to grapple with makes me feel like I'm looking down the barrel of a gun.
Oh yet another appropriate suicide song... The Smiths - Asleep. Though I think I'd prefer a more subtle approach but whos to argue eh?
Sing me to sleep
Sing me to sleep
And then leave me alone
Don't try to wake me in the morning
'Cause I will be gone
Don't feel bad for me
I want you to know
Deep in the cell of my heart
I will feel so glad to go
There is another world
There is a better world
Well, there must be
Well, there must be
Well, there must be
Well, there must be
Well ...
Bye bye
Bye bye
Bye ...
P.S: Pls no comments abt how i shld not commit suicide because its not something i've ever seriously contemplated. Relax.

Have you had instances when you hear a song, and the lyrics ring so true you think... Oh my god!. Its like the singer is voicing out how your thinking or feeling better than you ever could. And in that moment, you feel so special and understood, like that song was written just for you. Well. Maybe it rings so true because we all go through the same thing, but we're too narcissitic and self-absorbed. We believe that what we are feeling or going through to be unique to be ourselves.
I've come to terms that such is never the case. No matter how shitty or alone your feeling, somewhere else someone is going through the exact same thing. Its like we're all playing out the same script, jus that the names and set have changed. So much for the great human experience huh? Kinda humbling to say the least.
-
This probably isn't the best time to say this, but then again, when has that stopped me. The Velvet Underground plays such lovely music. It melancholic, poetic and it just has such a sedative effect on me. If ever I was going to take my life, it'd be to the song "Sunday Morning".
Sunday morning and I'm falling
I've got a feeling I don't want to know
Early dawning, Sunday morning
It's all the streets you crossed, not so long ago
Watch out, the world's behind you
Watch out, the world's behind you
Not that I'm being morbid, mind you.

First things first- Happy Happy Birthday Ding!!
(p.s- when exactly is your birthday proper?)
I can't get this song out of my head. Its been constantly loooping and loooping... and I don't mind actually its quite nice!
Placebo- 20th Century Boy. Man! The guitar riff is sooo catchy! Bum-da-bam-da-bum-da-bum-bum... haha ok that doesn't do it justice at all. Go download it. Go go go!
After a loonnngg period of creative listlessness, its like everything is hitting me like one big tsunami of pent up emotions, thoughts and feelings. Finally! I feel so alive and buzzing, like everything is coming alive again. Every object I see, I see possibilities and it speaks to me. Symbols symbols symbols. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming though.
Reading The Annotated Alice by Lewis Carroll, edited by Martin Gardner. Its basically the two Alice books(wonderland and looking glass), but on top of that theres a king's ransom in footnotes, related information and basically nuggets of trivia which bring the book a whole new level of appreciation. I highly recommend it to anyone. Alice is my opinion, one of the best works of literature. But no, they shouldn't teach it in school's because that just kills the spirit of it. It doesn't take a genius but the title of my blog and alot of my other works are all in reference to Alice.
I damned the consqeuences and I am so relieved. We should never let the moment pass, because thats what life is about. A series of moments. And your going to fucking miss out!? Something along those lines were said in the movie Dogma. Well, I seized, and I am glad glad glad. It all amounted to nothing, but it doesn't matter. These are still my glory days. wwwhhhheeeeee! I really should be sleeping soon but I'm really too jumpy to settle down.
You know what I want? Those lovely cloth-bound plain paper books. I can't find one that's larger than A5 size. bah. Tham suggested I take up a course in book-making and make one, and the thing is, he meant it. Maybe I should.

Bought new art supplies- oil pastels, colour pencils and water colours. I chose to remain conservative and stuck to the smaller selections of 20-something colours.
Sometimes it boggles the mind at the range of colours they offer. For instance, blacks black, right? ...Wrong! Theres midnight black, crow black, inky black, blah blah and on it goes.... you get the idea. At best, I think I'd be able to differentiate between shit black and crow black. Shit black, you see, has subtle hints of brown. Hence its name shit black.
I wonder if there are any colours out there yet undiscovered. Like a 4th primary colour. That would spice things up a bit...

Just got re-acquainted with a ghost from my past. Bitter-sweet, to say the least. And I am reminded why we were such close friends in the past. I wish I could say are but you're right. Its no use building castles in the clouds. Things've changed. Both you and I got caught up in growing up and getting on with our own lives. Now I'm here, and your nowhere near.
Do you remember all the late nights? Cooking supper, cycling and those crazy lan sessions? Your stupid Palomar never failing to fail you. Your stupid hair phases. My stupid weight issue. Our fucked up attitude in training. Me dragging your stupid lazy ass out of bed. Heh. Thinking of those moments still bring a smile to my face.
The thoughts and actions we shared, some of them were so frighteninly similar I was at times convinced we were cut from the same fabric of being. Not only did I feel accepted I felt understood. I still have a photo of the two of us, with faces cherubic. We took it in the Gold Coast. It stands testament to how much we've changed over these few short years. Now our eye's have dulled and our hello's hollowed. God, life's a fuckin' bitch ain't it.
It struck me that this is the first time you ever acknowledged me the way you did. Thanks. Its nice to finally hear it from you. Closure. Last rites, and the circle is finally complete. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, eh dear old friend? It was great while it lasted and thats more than anyone can ask for. I'll shrug my shoulders and say, the journey is the destination. No regrets, and I wish you well. Please don't fritter you time away. Carpe diem dear friend...
This isn't the first time, and neither is it the last time good friends have drifted away. Circumstances, and consequently, people change, and the friend you once loved to dearly is but a mere stranger in a familiar husk. I can't help but sigh even though I know such is inevitable. Alas, such sentimentality is a fool's past-time, so I'll look away, steel my nerve and move on. and on and on.
you know how it all ends.
(p.s: hope to see you there.)

Today I left school prematurely (5 hours pre-maturely to be exact) to head down to Holland V. to get the stuffing for my bean bag. For those still in the dark, I ordered this like... lip shaped bean bag over the net at yahoo!sg auctions.
Anyhow, upon seeing the bag of filling, I was thinking... this would barely fill ONE lip, let alone both. So I innocently asked, "Do they come in bigger servings?"
"Yes theres one we sell for $40 a bag."
You see, the small bag one sells for $10, each, so the larger $40 one would definately contain more than 4x the amount of filling! Damn, was I shocked to see the extent of 'more'.
In the cab ride home, I sat in the front, and the bag engulfed the whhhhoolleee of the backseat of the taxi, obscuring the rear screen also. haha. Shit. Anyway, so now I have a pair of pump-ed up smackeroos that can even rival collagen-pumped up Anna Nicole Smith's. And I still have more filling (which resembles snow) to spare.

Russian Roulette
To whom it may concern:
Looking up at the stars, I know quite well
That, for all they care, I can go to hell,
But on earth indifference is the least
We have to dread from man or beast.
How should we like it were stars to burn
With a passion for us we could not return?
If affection cannot be,
Let the more loving one be me.
Admirer as I think I am
of stars that do not give a damn,
I cannot, now I see them, say
I missed one terribly all day.
Were all stars to disappear or die,
I should learn to look at an empty sky
And feel its total dark sublime,
Though this might take a little time.

Ok here's the thing... I read somewhere that smoking dried green tea leaves has quite a kick. Yeah yeah yeah... but lennard, what if it kills you? lennard, what if it screws you up? Well, I took my chances, and other than a less than pleasant residual flavour in my mouth and a sickly odour in my room, it has close to no effect. Feelin a bit light headed but thats it. And that could be from the cab ride home... I get car sick easily. Bah.
ANYWAY, that disappointment aside (I still can't find morning glory seeds), I've realized that this is only the second week of school!! The road ahead looks... longg... lonnnggg... and longer. and ardous too. I've kind of neglected my studies these past few days getting caught up in the hoop-la of my room.
The closest mental image of my room that i can conjure up, short of a long descriptive narrative, is that my room resembles the basement in Sean John's Get Busy music video, jus well, less ghetto ya ken?

i think one of the easiest words to rhyme are those ending with -ice.
It wasn't very nice,
discovering some head lice,
scampering about like mice.
They played a game of dice,
making the poor fool
snow ice.
er. haha ok. i swear i had something better thought up in my head b4 i slept buit i cant for the life of me recall what it was 'cept it involved lice and dandruff... bah

A conversation between two people, one of them ran during the war instead of serving his country.
He lit the lamp again. As he straightened up from adjustig the wick, he stared at me.
'You are not ashamed to be the guest of a traitor to his country.'
'I don't think you were a traitor to the human race.'
We moved towards his bedroom windows.
'The human race is unimportant. It is the self that must not be betrayed.'
'I suppose one could say that Hitler didn't betray his self.'
He turned.
'You are right. He did not. But millions of Germans did betray their selves. That was the tradgedy. Not that one man had the courage to be evil. But that millions had not the courage to be good.'

-exerpt from The Magus, by John Fowles.

ahhh.... sleep sweeettt sleep. Slept like a baby last night. Absolutely lovely weather, with it rainin and thunderin and me bundled up in my blanket. The sky was disconcertingly bright for a stormy night though...
When I'm all bundled up in my blanket, maybe its the angle of the air-con or something, but my feet are positively baking. If I take my blanket off, then my body would be freezing. So how about covering my body but stickin my feet out? Nup, too cold, my toes get chilly. Such a dilemma eh? But I've reached the perfect solution- socks! Furthermore, when you wake in the morning, you can save precious seconds by jus wearin you shoes over em.
Not gonna waste today... Study! If I can fulfill my weekly quota fast enough maybe I can squeeze in some Playstation time! Sherman jus lent my Gran Turismo 3... its been sitting on my table for the past few days beckoning to me but no I must have control! Can't wait for Need For Speed: Undergound and Street Racing Syndicate. Heh I hope it comes out after the A levels... if not its gonna take a hell lotta control to stay away from it.
Speaking of control I've so far trudged through 5 days of my 2 week self-imposed hiatus from the stick. Its a bit rough at some spots but on the whole, it ain't that bad. Cigarette addiction is over-rated.

hmmm i forgot to bathe yesterday. sheesh im getting very absent minded... especially of late.
You know what? In all the turmoil in the world and the volatile markets, at least theres one thing thats never changed- hairdressers who never fail to do the opposite of what you want.
Case in point- today, Isaac and I went down to get our hair cut, deciding we neeeded excitement, we went down to the yellow funky looking Its Hairy! at Far East. Usually, I hate cutting my hair as the person usually manages to turn a perfectly normal looking face into something quite outer-worldly. Today was no different.
"Please don't cut it too short I intend to grow it long... oh and don't thin it please I hate that. Thanks."
I guess above the sound of the shears mauling my scalp, the person must have heard
"Short and sexy please! Thin... like Kate Moss! Thanks!"
Bah.
I dowanna go to school tomorrow.

...tada! And the room is done! finally.
As of yesterday I have started studying proper. haha. Watch all world you might find out I'm not that much of a dumb fuck after all.
Short post today. With more study time, something's gotta give. I love my sleep too much to sacrifice that and I love peter oh-too-much! I'd never abandon him (or at least for the next few months). So computer time's gotta give.
The funniest conversation between serena and zhihua in class today-
serena: are you coming on to me?
zhihua: yes
serena: thank you.
it was so matter of fact it was hilarious.

It's a Magical World!
I think the whole wide world would be a wayyy better place if everyone read more comics and watched more comedies. Thats why I love Monday nights. For as long as I can remember, Monday has been a ritual telethon for me, starting with the simpsons at 6 and now ending with friends at 1030. Sure the programs change but hey its still a laugh. Finally, I'm so glad starworld replaced the daily Faiser with Everybody Loves Raymond...
Yes! Struck an excellent deal with my chinese teacher... until i get my A level results back, I'ma only gonna hafta attend 1 period of chinese! whooooo! oh my chinese oral is this wednesday... so.. ugh... its moments like this i wish we were like in the matrix, and then i'd just download all the relevant info. blah.
hey check out this car... Nissan Altima. WHooo! and in the colour i like! *notice the ps2 tucked away under the seat?*
Ollie... tenkay competition. Hope you find inspiration in it. Really top notch online comic.

my night of expected excess has sputtered out like a dying engine and fallen flat on its face with my leavin early to go home and fall asleep to the glow of my computer screen playing 2 fast 2 furious. *swoon* devon. Brought a cigar fer david and i had one too. felt like jay-z baybee! pimp-ass bling bling. I want a night where i'll wake up the next morning with a splitting headache, fuzz on my tongue and spend the day rolling about in bed groaning. I wanna drink so much I'd have alcohol coming outta every pore of my body. I wouldn't have a clue what happened the night before and i'd be "shit must've been a fool. haha. fuck it i think i had fun...". Its really been long since i've been in such a state. haha. In excess its bad but ... its so bad its good. ya know? its like the forbidden fruit... and its in your reach.
ding you were in my dream last nite. you dared to me buy drugs, and i did. it was in a punk/rock shop, and you were certain the guy had drugs stashed away. giving me some cash you prodded me to try skive some...
In a scene of slick dialogue and dream-cinematography worth of a soderbergh movie, i managed to convince the guy that we're down-to-earth junkies jus lookin for a good high.
It was a white pill, about the size of a squashed pea. It was hidden in a hollow crucifix which had a secret twist open top. As i was about to pop it, the police exploded in and i promptly kicked the pill under the carpet. then the dream started going all wonky. the walkway outside morphed into a tunnel not unlike the scenes in the matrix. and...bah i forget. hmm is this a hint of whats to come.
damn chris rock is funny shit.
today's sunday comic strips are all excellent. usually they're mostly good cept theres a few bad apples that are jus so un-funny one would be more amused reading the business times. But not today. Today it all good. :) Usually on the weekdays, i have a morning ritual. -fast-forward to breakfast before sch- drink a glass of water, take my vitamins, and focus straight to Life! comics. Starting at the top left comic, I'd read it in a clock-wise order, skipping Get Fuzzy. Finishing at the non-sequitor, I'd rub my hands in anticipation and proceed to read Get Fuzzy. I absolutely love Get Fuzzy! haha... its like Garfied with a cynical blah attitude. (notice the parallels? the innocent dog, evil cat and loser-you-love owner)

Blogger is taking forever to load.
School Sucks, but whats new. Really looking forward to sat night man.
This school week has been hell week, getting back all my less-than-perfect
results. oh and got caught skipping econs lec the other day.
I'm reading this book now, the Magus by John Fowles. Its supposed to be
one of the 'must-reads' of contemporary American fiction and all that hoo-ha,
and I can see why... its really an enjoyable, though i have a sneaking
suspicion all the metaphors and symbols in the novel are just whoosh
flying over my head. Its basically about a British
guy who goes to teach in Greece. Ok that sentence doesn't do the book
justice cause its so much more than that. Go find it in the library.
I got my copy at a nearby bookstore, they were selling a whole shelf of
books at $2 each... *note: school sucks*
You know the feeling when your with friends hangin' out? And your torn
between your impatience to leave and your curiosity to stay in case
anything happens. Anyway its like that for me sometimes. I've decided
when I'm in such a situation, I'm just gonna leave, cause more often
than not, nothing happens, and I'm feelin like being with me nowadays.
*reminder: school sucks*
Read this somewhere I think... but that doesn't make it any less true.
I feel as though I have everywhere to go but nowhere to stay. Shrugs.
Novelty is a big kick for me and i get bored of things and move on so
quickly, sometimes even i frustrate myself. Heh its hard to keep up.
wonder whats next. oh joan fixed yr zippo.
*this is a final reminder: school sucks. ass.*

Hmmm... My bro is listening to YMCA, and all day long the house phone keeps ringing and its all guys, and thats fine I guess, but he talks for hours on end with them. I'm really hoping this isn't some sign that in the future, hes gonna be swinging that way... ya ken?
Finally I made it back to ac i today, after much procrastination and other unforseeable circumstances, i took a stand today. I said to myself, Shit nothing's gonna stop me from going there today! So I skipped econs lec and left the school.
Its good to know all is still well with Mr Tham, and that somethings don't really change. The sch canteen still serves the same food and the chin chow still tastes the same. The Art room is still a mess and the students still barely respect the teachers. ahhh... Anyway got roped into comin back to ac during teachers day to do caricatures of the teachers... haha wonder how that'll turn out.
Had a good talk with tham and got a bit more focus back into my life. the details are personal. Borrowed a book... "the journey is the destination". Its real journal (actually more like a collage) of a guy named Dan Aldon, and i think anyone who has the time should read it. He was stoned to death in a small village... but despite that through the pages one can see the depth and breadth of his rich-ly textured life. And thats why I really think the journey is the destination and i couldn't agree with him more. It changed my life, maybe it could change yours. Or your money back!*
*product must be returned within 30 days in original condition. company reserves the right to refuse repayment.
After that went to bump into joan and bra doin bdae shoppin for gerald. It was suchhh a hassle! god. Why can't people just give ang-paos? nothing says I Love You like $50... and its soo much more convenient for both parties. So after much calling back and forth and back and forth, they finally got him a -secret-.
You know what struck me? Karl Marx must be whoop-ing for joy, toasting russian vodka... cause come to think of it, isn't communism kind of realised in the internet? I'm not familiar with the specifics of the doctrine, but downloading music and movies and programs and all for free... ain't that communism? or some form of it? hmmm i'll go check it out. paiseh if it turns out im all muddled in the head. haha.
Yuheng was commenting that my sketches were 'freudian' because of their unintentional sexual undertones. Personally, i think hes just horny. What exactly is freudian? Such sez its jus something you use and nobody really just understands they just nod their head vigorously nervously hoping the topic will pass...
aye yai yai... listening to dilemma again.

Sigh. Feelin down. :(
btw, had the army check-up today. That was a waste of time...
Don't really know what's wrong, maybe its just that nothing's going too right? or maybe its a hormonal thing. grin. I'm sucking on my dispair like a pacifier and it gives me comfort right now. I can't complain about life, but I can't exactly congratulate it for the bang-up job its done.
Ok onto the mundane... My room is coming along juustttt fine (finally!). After having chased and pestered the contractor (lucky he didn't get a restraining order against us!), he's promised us by friday it'd all be done. Progress these past few days has been really impressive... the doors are up, lights all installed. All's left is my window and a few touch-ups here and there and my shelving. Parents are going away some weekend (next i think), so i'm hoping to have my friends over then. Its been ages since I've had ding, weims and frens over... heh remem last year? We were good for nothing bum's jus stonin our lives away, eddy and I getting all high on beer or some odd booze. How thing's've changed.
Ding, yeah your getting a key. :) I have this skeletal vision of how my room is going to turn out, but i can only imagine it in sections... i can't wait to see the full integrated picture! Just got a wire-less connection for my com, i hope the signal's strong enough to reach the basement...
Hmmm... you know how some songs, unconsciously, just remind you of someone? Either its the lyrics, or the song was playin when something happened, and your not really aware but it takes you back to a feeling? Anyway listenin to Dilemma right now and gawsh does it strongly remind me of someone.
heh. Yish and I were debating about what to name my playstation...
me: I'm going to name it peter...
yish: PETER? nooo!!!! its such a sissy name!
me: then how about bruce?
yish: how about Suzy or Mary Shelly or something nice like that?
me: no no nooo! my playstation is a macho playstation! no chick games gonna be played on it! it needs a tough name!
yish: ... and peter is tough?
me: it sounds russian... Peter Rachmanikov or sumthing like that! Russians are tough as nails! *mental image of colossus*
yish: nooooooooooooo
me: too bad its my choice! i'm gonna play with peter byebye!

*cha ching!* Got an allowance increase!
I don't think there's any real definitive 'normal'. At best, its just an amalgamation of everything. Hmmm... Normal is... normal is the majority. yeap. That about does justice to it.
Watched some play last night, but I can't even remember the title... guess thats how much of an impression it left on me eh? I reached jubilee hall late, so I only went in after intermission, and still after a brief catch-up with the help of poon, the story was easy enough to follow. Thats, what i feel, is always an indication of how good the play is. You know how your sitting in a movie? And your bursting to go piss but no no no you won't because if you do, in those few crutial minutes, you KNOW you'll miss something important. Unless, of course, its a 'flick', eye candy, then it doesn't matter. hell, you could come in at the last 5 minutes and still be on top of it all.
Had a late night visitation from a friend last night. If your reading this, hope all goes well with you. Have faith in yourself! :)

Went to run some errands today... Had to get light fixtures and fix my phone, so I took my bike out. But but but... I forgot to bring my bike lock. Smart move lennard. I brought my bike into paragon with me into the M1 shop, only to have the lady tell me I'd have to go to cine nokia care shop to get it fixed. Couldn't bring my bike into there, so I asked the security outside if I could leave my bike outside for a bit and to keep an eye on it, but the bloody tight ass-ed anal guy said no no no... pointing to a wheel-clamp sign.
"It's a wheel clamp zone. You can't leave your bike here."
FUCK YOU. You should go get laid or get a smoke or something and loosen up man. shit.
After that debacle, I made my way to ikea, only thing is, I don't know the way. Asked some jogger along the road and he didn't have a clue either, but he had a map on him and he willingly gave it to me. heh. My faith in humanity is restored!

hahahah went to ZoukIn last night... the music was really thumpin'! Phuture had these 4 dj's spinning, and they're absolutely nuts! They were jumpin about arms in the air havin' a real good time and it showed too in the music! It was some eclectic mix beat, thats the best I can catergorize it. It had these odd tempos mixed in with the cutest little ditties. Zouk main floor itself was filled with sand and palm trees and all... how wild is that! By my good fortune, I bumped into some fun personalities there. heh. yiwen certinaly wasn't shy takin his shirt of... haha. My poor friend was unfortunate enough to wear heels to this occasion, and she couldn't dance because her heels kept sinking into the sand, and so the stayed and nursed the liquor while the rest of us partied away. *eeps* thx.

AHHH ITS OVERR! in every sense of the word! my exams are over, and its over for me! die die die! ah but heckkk...
Intended to go back to ac after the papers, but by gods good favour, the heavens opened up and he started pissing down on my when i was about to leave. Big up to you guy in the sky... bah. Ended up in town doin as usual... nothing special. My friend went to get tongue peirced. Good on him! Why did he do it? Cause he felt like it... sometimes thats as a good a reason as any, if not the most valid. Its like... should i do it... should i do it? Ah screw it. what the hell. I think doing all these pointless irreverant things in life help keep things in perspective, that really, stop taking things so seriously. Life's a journey lets enjoy it. wwwwwhhhhhhheeeeeeee...
To celebrate the end of this ardous period, I went to get meself a nice dunny. Was in school uniform, so buying it was outta the question. So there was this old bum guy jus walkin around. Enlisted his help to help me go buy, but in the end, he didn't know what I wanted I practically had to point at it. haha. So much for 'preventive measures' eh? There is ALWAYS a way. For ANYTHING. Just how much ya want it...
Hey download Dark Beat by Oscar G... I swear its good shit! Can't fight it, I won't deny it cuz im addicted to drums and I'ma slave to the dark beat Whooo! How do you get that outta your head? heh. This morn in the car they were playin this kick ass brit tune... but when the dj was jus about to give the title track and artist, my bro jus had to open the car door to get off. 'Whooosh'. Traffic sounds flood the car, drowning out the dj. Oh woe! Ah well at least I enjoyed it in the moment. *if anyone can remember please tell me! it was playin at about 7ish... 710 give or take on 98.7*
Theres something about the UK I find so appealing....
"Please excuse my friend, he's British..."
"Ah! That expains it. Tragic..."
Its like they're livin in their own world. Guess after such a rich history and all that.... moreover cause they were such a superpower in the past, mayhaps theres some residual pride in em. That's why they groovin to their own beat. But then again, I'm no sociologist... But think about it... Mr Bean? come on! only the brits. I remember as a kid, I loved reading Enid Blyton, but I always got confused with the cronological progression of the novel. They have tea, dinner is called supper, they have the oddest things called scones (something i was fascinated with until i tried it... n'thin but over-rated muffins), and all the oddest nonesense thats part of their everyday culture there. but you catch my drift?
Spent some time with cherm today that was kinda nice... been some time eh girl? heh. Wouldn't it be so nice? Sultry bossa nova in the background, sitting in some road side cafe on cobble-stoned side walks, black coffee, cigarettes and the world passing you by...
Sigh... time to hit the books... got chem tomorrow. oh wait... no i don't! haha.
Gd luck to those poor souls still toiling away at the books.

aye... less than 24 hours and its all over. (cue Rocky theme) Come'on.... come'on come'on.
God todays econs was really bleah. Yeah, bleah. Not good, not bad, Bleah. Wassat? Hell I know... its a feeling. Blllleaaaahhhhhhh. Haha through the exam one word kept goin thru my head... quark. quark quark quark. Price elasticity of Quark. haha. blah.
Tomorrow's my first early mornin paper. It'll be the first time in a month since I've had to wake at such an ungodly hour. 10 weeks... 10 weeks of this. 10 x 5... 50 days... skip a few here and there, bring it down to 45. ok 45 early mornings till end of term! Everyone! 45 mornings!
I can't shake this dream I had a few nights ago. Dreamt I stabbed some guy through his thigh. The odd resistence the skin provided to the blade before it slid in. It hit a bone and I hadta jiggle it abit before it went through... Can't shake the feeling outta my hand.
"It was lush, with wild vegetation growing untamed and cumbling paint flaking off the wall like a bad sun burn, revealing its raw under-skin. There was a sprawling jackfruit tree in the middle of it all, standing like the middle finger of mother nature giving a big 'fuck you' to urbanization. It was also like nature's umbrella. Creeper vines ceined across the wall like a virus. "I could start a garden here!" she exclaimed. I imagined gothic skeletal chairs and a rusted table would fit right in. "
Btw, hey thanks for rememberin the lira and euro. Really appreciate it. Again I say I'm very surprised you remembered. :)

You're the super-slacker!!
Homework?
What's that? Studying? Not in your vocabulary.
You hardly study and almost never do your work
and yet, by some divine intervention, you're
still surviving. And you come to school so un-
often, your teachers have pratically forgotten
that you even exist. Go, you slacker, you!!
Which Stereotypical Singaporean Student Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
haha... w00t...

Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck.
It's just hitting me, the whole thing about losing my phone and everything in between, and I am GOD DAMN angry, vexed, irritated and frustrated, all in that order. Furthermore, I can't direct my anger at anyone in particular. Was it the taxi driver? Even if it was, I don't remember his name. All I remember is his big pot belly and his piggly nose and its all jus swimmin in my head now mocking my carelessness.
Every little thing is irritating me now. The air-con is makin to much noise, the light is glaring to my eyes, exams are tomorrow. I wanna scream and punch something! uRGhhHHHHH! Despite all my rage I'm still just a rat in a cage. Everything is going ka-boom in my face.
My room downstairs? Its been in a perpetual state of 'almost ready' for 2 months already! Okay so I can move in at the end of the week... but move into what fuck? The furniture's not done, the carpenter'll probably take another month. Great. wheee. zen livin at its best eh? empty room, jus a simple mat on the floor for me to sleep on. Hmmm yay so this zen thing goes hand in hand with my anorexic allowance... after deductions here and there, it reaches a GRAND-DADDY total of $50. whooopp-dee-doo. Back to basics baby.
I just want today to end! No... scratch that I want it to be Thursday now! Post-exams. yippiyaiyae. Heh planning to go back to visit Tham. Its been sometime since I last saw him. The last time I went back (about a month ago) he had hot-footed it to new york. heh got some new stuff to show him... can't wait for his crit. Always acting like he doesn't care and all but you know he does. Heart of Gold. Tham oh tham ever ya read this, thx loads and loads and loads. If not for your guidance and art, heck, school'd be a lost cause for me.
I don't know how I do it... like get through things, but they somehow always work out in the end. Besides cramming before exams, homework and all just seems like some joke to me. What? Pass up work? er... Ho HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS MA'AM! I'm like this biggg walkin mess... heh if not for bones and jix, god, I would've never made it thru sec sch. I'd probably mix up all my exam dates and muddle up anything that's muddle-able. haha thank god to yoon and xin xin in jc... Gooooood Morninn' Angels! grin. *mental note* in future, get personal secetary... or get a wife.
PSLE prelim? hell I barely got 200. But again thing's just worked out fine in the end. Sec 2 streaming? I didn't even know what I needed to do. I didn't even go to school on the day we got our results. Lucky darryl was there heh settled abt everything for me... endin up in trip sci. *god how did i get here?* sigh. By cronological progression, so came the O's. Besides physics and art, my grades for everything else is really quite a shocker. then RJ and that UWC thing. I try not to think abt it. Am I over it? I just tell myself I am and hopefully someday I'll mean it. Its not so bad now, more like some low ebb in the back of my mind. Again, all these things happened. Just happened. Its like seeing photos I don't remember taking. Its really quite surreal... my life is playin itself out and its jus draggin me along for the ride.
hmmm... she said she'd call back but lookin at the time, I'm not holdin my breath. bah. Whats new.
To those who sat through the self-loathing/pitying/indulging post above? wow you must really be bored. nah... heh thanks.

Ok let me try my hand at this. God it makes me feel like such an exhibitionist... Hey world! Here's my naked white ass smack in your face.
Right now I'm in the midst of school exams, and as everyone knows, its a PAIN! Blah blah blah I could go on and on ranting 'bout it, but I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about, so I'll skip that.
Instead, let me tell you about my perfect day. As I left a cab, comin back from borrowin notes, a sudden jolt hit me.
"Something's wrong Lennard!"
"I know I know!! But... what brain, what?!"
"FUCK! MY MOBILE!"
Alas, upon my realization, it was too late, as I valiantly tried to chase the cab down (yeah right, who am I kiddin'...). And so it goes. Suddenly, I really feel alone. I am dis-connected. Which is perhaps why I started this? Hmmm... that's a thought. Aye... good god, fuck my luck eh? And I just got new pics of Devon Aoki into 'em. Bah. I can just imagine Lou Reed now singing soundtrack to this with alcohol on his breath in his raspy voice...
Just a perfect day,
Drink Sangria in the park,
And then later, when it gets dark,
We go home.
Just a perfect day...
Ironically (hmmm does it apply here?), today's also my Grandfather's birthday. So in the big picture, exhistensional sense of it, if not for today, some 3/4s of a century ago (give or take a few years and 9 months), I wouldn't even be here! (amongst many other random but important occurances). *cue in Plath-y tone* why bother... why bother when it all ends in nothing-ness. boo hoo. haha. Either way, Happy Birthday kongkong, hope you have many more to come...
Not bad for a perfect day, eh?
