Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems

Designing and Maintaining our Living Space
Short description
The MSc in Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systemsoffers a broad university-level education for planners and managers of our spatial environment and its infrastructure systems. Supervised by a personal tutor, students choose an individual curriculum according to their personal interests and talent. The curriculum covers obligatory courses in planning methodology and communication, spatial organization and economics, history and theory of urbanization, and land use. Each student chooses two out of four core subject areas: Transportation planning, Traffic systems, Spatial development, Environmental planning. A wide range of electives and an interdisciplinary project work allows students to specialise further in their chosen direction or broaden their knowledge. The 16-week Master's thesis focuses on one of the chosen core subject areas.
