PG59,
The more informed someone is, the more hardened their beliefs become.

"One of the more striking features of the cotemporary conservative movement is the extend to which it has been moving toward epistemic closure. Reality is defined by a multimedia array of interconnected and cross promoting conservative blogs, radio programs, magazines, etc. Whatever conflicts with that reality can be dismissed out of hand because it comes from the liberal media, and is therefore ipso facto not to be trusted. And how do you know they are liberals? Well, they disagree with the conservative media…" -Julian Sanchez

//SYMPTOMS OF INFORMATION OBESITY

PG65,
The dangerous thing about information obesity is that it's a bit more nefarious. It's difficult to tell if you are suffering from information obesity or have poor information consumption habits...Socrate's view on this was simple: just accept your own ignorance as the only thing to be certain about.

PG66,
Buteyko  Breathing exercises:

The Buteyko method  proposes the use of breathing exercises as a treatment for asthma as well as other conditions. The method takes its name from Ukrainian doctor Konstantin Pavlovich Buteyko (Ukrainian: Бутейко) (1923 2003), who first formulated its principles during the 1950s.

This method is based on the assumption that numerous medical conditions, including asthma, are caused by chronically increased respiratory rate or deeper breathing .

This method purportedly retrains the breathing pattern through chronic repetitive breathing exercises to correct the hyperventilation, which, according to the method's proponents, will therefore treat or cure asthma as well as any other conditions purportedly caused by hyperventilation. At the core of the Buteyko method is a series of reduced-breathing exercises that focus on nasal-breathing, breath-holding and relaxation.
